Best of 2012

Pyotr Pavlensky
This is one of my favorite photos of the year because this man is obviously protesting for something he strongly believes in.  And it really facinates me when people to exautic things to express they're beliefs. This man shows that he doesn't believe in the imprisonment of his favorite band "pussy riot".

AN ILLUMINATED SNOW TUNNEL IN RUSSIA

I like this 2012 photo because it just looks really different and is very dangerous for that person to be apart of. Bravo to them.

Syrian man cries while holding the body of his son

This photo is a very good reminder of the world around us. Although 2012 just ended and now is a new year... now that time has changed doesn't mean that the world will. Unfortunatly lives will always be taken and we must go on with higher hopes because the more hope and faith the more reashurance.

BEST SONG of 2012

Home by Phillip Phillips was for me the best song of 2012 because that song really connected me to Seattle, Washington this summer when I went there. He sings of home as if it were a place your scarred of because it's new but that there's nothing to fear. That is why I feel that home was the best song of 2012.

BEST MOVIE of 2012

Hunger Games was the best movie of 2012 because it shows political issues in a different era and was very creatively put together. Inspiring!

MOST IMPORTANT NEWS STORY of 2012

The story of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was to me the most important story of 2012 because it shows us that gun laws are coming into more effect as more people get hurt. And children's lives being taken around Christmas time is a tragedy.

MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON OF 2012

vs.

For me it seems that Psy creator of Gangnam Style lifted many people of their seats for exorcise and President Obama lifted peoples spirits. You choose.
